It's Wednesday and another day for some 2 Cute inspiration! I hope your week is going well so far! With the holidays coming up so quickly, I decided some of us probably need a few more clean and simple cards. I don't know about you, but I tend to wait until the last minute to make a card for an upcoming event and simple card ideas are a big help! I used one of the trees from the Girly Holiday Tree digital stamp set for this card. I layered two different colored scalloped circles behind the main image circle, added some patterned paper and some ribbon and I was done! Hope this helps inspire your holiday card making! Hi there! Today I'm sharing a simple but super cute card featuring Cookies and Milk! I colored this cat sparingly because I wanted him or her to be white. I used my Copics to color the image and then die-cut it with my Nestabilities. The snowflake and aqua papers are Echo Park, the pink heart is Making Memories and the green banner is Martha Stewart. I punched the heart with a MS punch and die-cut the banner with my Shapeabilities. The sentiment is The Cat's Pajamas. I hope you're inspired to make some fun and cute cards with Heidi's new images!

Happy Wednesday! Has it really been a whole week already since I posted here? Winter is getting closer and closer and this little cutie seemed like a great image to use this week! I want to learn to knit again this winter! It's been a very long time since I've held a pair of knitting needles in my hands. I think just the thought of knitting makes me feel warmer! :) This is Cat-Knit, an adorable kitty who probably likes to play with the yarn more than use the knitting needles! I used the digital stamp, but it is also available as a cling cushion rubber stamp here. I colored the main image with Copic markers and cut around it using my Nestabilities. Happy Tuesday! Today I used Cupcake Kitty from 2 Cute Rubber Stamps to make this cute birthday card. I used card stock I had. I don't know if you can see in my scan, but the pattern paper has lots of glitter. I punched a boarder with red card stock and the pink card stock is shimmery. The image is colored with Copic Markers and the saying is a stamp I had.

I love getting to post on Mondays, because if you are anything like me Mondays usually are not to much fun. But then when I was asked what day I would like to post I decided Mondays would be GREAT. Why? How can these guys not make you smile? A bit of sunshine is always fun don't you think? Give it a try.. I dare ya...

My card today is OWL SPARKLERS and isn't he just the cutest thing ever!! If you were to make a card, say for a friend, this is sure to make anyone happy. This card is alot darker than I had planned, but the paper is Pink Paislee and I really like the way it came out.

I hope I managed to add a bit of sparkle into your Monday, at least enough to make it through the week.

I needed a little teacher's gift this week with Halloween parties happening, so found myself using the adorable Kindergarten Turtle again for another Post It Note holder and made sure I included the classic orange Halloween color! I love this little guy! Given a pink backpack, I really think this stamp could make some rather cute little girl creative projects too!

Hope you all had a safe and fun Halloween! On to November! I made this little card using 2 Cute Rubber Stamp's Image, Bear Cub Friends. I thought is was a great image to make a little note card to send to my friends who loving camping and the outdoors.

I printed the image, colored with Copic Markers and then tore the edges towards me to get the ripped edge. I then inked the edge with a sponge and ink to match the background color. I think it makes an interesting effect. You can check out more on my blog, http://inkingofyoutoo.blogspot.com.

Well, this is my last Halloween card for the year. I used 2 Cute Rubber Stamp's, Pumpkin Bear. I have had a very very busy past couple days, so I didn't have much time to stamp. I used several layers of card stock, buttons (always thread your buttons they look more polished) and I put googly eyes on the BOO. The little eyeballs move around. A little touch of whimsey. Hi there! I'm a little late posting my Sunday card, but my weekend got a little busier than I expected (in a good way)! This week, I used the Best of Friends image on another Halloween card. I thought the spider tied in with the Halloween theme, so instead of using a "happy h-OWL-oween" sentiment which would draw attention away from the spider, I used a stamp by Clear & Simple Stamps that seemed appropriate for these two guys. I colored my backyard friends with some Copics and used papers by Target to jazz them up. To finish off the card, I stuck on some purple buttons and called it a day. I'm just about finished with my Halloween cards, how about you?? :) Thanks so much for stopping by friends, hope you all had a great weekend!

Hi friends! I still consider myself a "newbie" on this design team, so I'm not sure often Monster Mash has been used, but I thought it would be fun to show it used on a Halloween card! I searched (and searched!) through my Halloween supplies until I found a "monster mash" sentiment (sticker by American Crafts). Since the sentiment was AC, I figured I would pull out a pack of papers from the same line to match that baby blue in the letters. I used my Copics to color the image and punched it out with my EK Success 2 3/4" circle punch and matted it with a scalloped circle. I found the ribbon in my scrap stash and roughed it up a bit for a distressed look. To finish off the card, I added some pearls by Recollections (Michaels). I love this cute pair- they sure take the scary out of Halloween, don't they?! :D I hope you enjoy my card, thanks so much for stopping by!

Oh boy!!! Do I ever feel silly!! You see, I joined this DT over a month ago, but then my life got super crazy! My Dad, poor guy, got really--really sick! He ended up in the hospital and then the nursing home for physical therapy. It's been a life changing journey. THEN....I JUST realized that my day for posting for 2 Cute Rubber Stamps is on Saturday, and that I GOT! What I DIDN'T realize is I was supposed to be posting HERE...not on MY blog! (I'm so red in the face) LOL!!!
Okay...enough jabbering!!

Good morning everyone,
Life has been fairly hectic here lately. I started a new job on Tuesday and there is a fair amount of work to be done, however that hasn't stopped me from creating a cute little card. I apologize in advance for the quality of the picture, my camera is off on vaction with the hubby in Canada...

I wanted to do a monochromatic card, so I chose black and white. It's hard to see but the layers are a silver holographic paper and a striped glitter paper. I used only white, black and silver embellishments, then for a pop of color I colored in the cherry red.

I made this cute kitty card in a snap! I used Color Bok pattern paper. The pad has many patterns that go well together. Then the solid color card stock is from DCWV. Copic Markers to color "Thank You Cat" image which you can purchase here.. A few flower punches to layer and a cute little button that is threaded with Scrappers Floss.

OK, all I can say is" I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT MY INTERNET CONNECTION" I didn't realize how much we really use it. I am posting this so late because my internet connections comes and goes whenever it darn well feels like it. I made this tag for a Halloween gift for my youngest.

Happy Sunday, friends! Today I finally got around to inking up one of my very favorite 2 Cute images- Artic Friends Polar Bear and Penguin! I should point out that this stamp is actually quite large (roughly 3.5" by 3.75") and I had to break out my Grand Nestabilities in order to show the whole image. I colored these cuties with my Copics and matted them on some Quite Contrary papers by My Mind's Eye. The sentiment is a stamp by Starving Artistamps and I embellished sparingly with some Making Memories brads.

Good morning everybody,
I trust you are all having a wonderful week so far and now that it's Friday, that's even better. For today, here is my creation...

I've always loved a pink and brown combination, so I decided to try it out on my card. I actually colored in the image with my colored pencils and Gamsol. This was a little tricky as I had to make sure the image didn't run.
I added Prima flowers and buttons and the saying is actually from a package of seals that I got in the wedding section of Hobby Lobby.

With the arrival of autumn, I've been thinking a lot about Thanksgiving! October is already here and next month brings with it Turkey Day! I used Baby Turkey to create this simple card. At first, I was going to make something for a first birthday theme, but as I started creating I started thinking about how I could use this cutie for a Thanksgiving card. I had the idea that I could put a sentiment inside that said something like, "One day...countless calories!" "Gobble 'til ya wobble!"

Hi there! I've been absent for a little while with my internet being down and getting the flu, but I'm SO happy to be back! I used the super adorable Mermaid and Friends image, which I colored with my Copic markers. For a fun background, I punched a whole bunch of circles from my blue and turquoise scraps, then layered them on a piece of cardstock, and snipped off any overhanging circles. It was fast, easy, and a great way to use up my scraps! My hope is that it looks like the mermaid's scales! :)

Happy Tuesday! My inspiration card above is made with the stamp Cat-Knit. I LOVE this! I don't knit but I do crochet. I also am a total cat lover. I have recruited a few friends as well as myself to crochet/knit a blanket for a local charity "Wings". We are going to use them as holiday gifts for some of the women and children Wings support. In turn am going to make this card (shhh, I hope they don't see this post) for each of my friends that donate. Take a minute or two and make a difference in someone's life. Morning all. I hope your weekend was restful and your Monday is going good. I had a very nice weekend of soccer, yard work and laundry, so all in all pretty nice. I colored this image about 2 months ago, but I found this great paper this weekend and I knew it would be perfect.

For my Tuesday Inspiration card today, I used 2 Cute Rubber Stamp image, Turtle Sundae.
I added some punched flowers with green brads to girly it up. You can easily make the image masculine by changing the colors and not using the flowers. I colored it with Copic Markers and texturized the green card stock
piece behind her. I wish that sundae was real! Yummy. A pretty simple card, yet with added layers of color.

Hope you all had a very nice weekend, and our American friends are enjoying there holiday today. Here in the Northwest, the weather is suppose to be wonderful (around 75) and the plan is to take the kids to the park for the day.

Digital Stamp used: Owl Miss You

This little owl is adorable in his spectacles, don't you think?! I colored them in with a burgandy colored Copic marker and then gave them polka dots using the the tip of my Copic blending marker. I added Crystal Effects to give them shine. I think it's quite the fashion statement! (You can find more details here.)

Hi there! Today I used 2 Cute Rubber Stamps, Original Cowboy Kid stamp. He is darling! I remember having a stick horse like that when I was little LOL! He makes me smile.

Hi friends! This is my first Halloween card of the season, and I'm so excited that it features Pumpkin Bear! He is just SOOO cute and I had a blast coloring him with my Copics! I love how chubby he is! :D I used my Nestabilities for the circle and scalloped circle, scraps of Halloween themed paper from my stash, black cardstock, and some brads from Target. Hi Friends,

This is Anna and I am here to share my project with you for this week. :)

Today I wanted to use the same image I used last week to show you how versatile it is. You can do anything with this little guy. I suppose it doesn't help that have this fascination with owl stamps to begin with. :) lol..

Today's card is fairly a simple one but I did use my Silhouette SD die cut machine to cut out some of the pieces. So that added a little bit of a challenge for me. Hope you like what I came up with for this week.

Hi there! I know you just saw Mr. Crabby earlier this week, but Sandy and I must have had the same idea- to make a card with him before summer ends!! :) I love how cute he is- just skippin' along, gathering sand! :D I colored him with my Copics and tried to emulate sand, although I think my grains are kind of big! :) All of the papers are from DCWV and the brads were found in my stash. This little cutie was colored in with Copic markers, then I added fibers, charms, and of course Stickles Glitter Glue. The glitter though is a little more subdued because I used Tim Holtz Distress Stickles, just for some variety.

This is Anna, and this is my first post here on 2 Cute Rubber Stamps. Today I am going to show you my first card I made as part of the 2 Cute Rubber Stamps Design Team. I hope you like what I came up with.

This is a digital stamp called "Best of Friends Owl". I kind'a altered it a wee little bit. Where you see the heart, there is usually a spider there. Well, its still there, I just pop dotted a heart, that I punched out, on top of it. I wanted it to go with the theme I had in mind "Whooo Loves You?" And I didn't think the spider fit, and was thinking of a way to work with it. and Voila.. Here you go.

Happy Tuesday from us at 2 Cute Rubber Stamps! Hope my card gives you a little inspiration. This image is Happy Crabby. Happy Crabby is having fun building sand castles on the beach. I used a tropical print card stock and stamped flowers with glitter. I don't think the glitter shows up unfortunately on here. It does sparkle. I used Copic Markers to color and a white gel pen to add some dots/dimension on him to go along with the dots on the flowers. Hope you each have a wonderful day! Happy Stamping!

Hi there, friends of 2 Cute Rubber Stamps! This is Suzanne, posting for my first time as a newbie on the design team! I kept things simple for my first DT card- just a scrap of purple cardstock, a strip of patterned paper by ATD and some coordinating ric rac from my stash. I had lots of fun coloring this super cute image (Cupcake Kitty) with my Copics. I cut it out, popped it up on foam tape, stamped the sentiment by Inky Antics and called it a day! Heidi's images are so sweet they speak for themselves and don't need much embellishing.

How adorable is this Hula Hoopin' Hamster? I fell in love the minute I saw him. So summery and cute! Reminds me of when I
was young and hula hooped with my friends.
I used Copic Markers to give him shading, as all the hamster's my son's ever owned had several shades of fur. I miss seeing
that hamster wheel going round and round LOL! The flowery paper has glitter, but I don't think it really shows in this scan.

So it is that time again and I am looking for about 4 people to be on the 2 Cute Design Team!

So here is the scoop! :)
a. Looking for people to fill Mon, Wed, Thur and Sat spots. For at least a 3-6 month commitment.
b. You would post a card/creation using 2 Cute Digital stamps on the DT blog and on your own blog on your specific day. (anything goes it is up to you to play and have fun!)
c. You would make a separate card/creation for our challenges which are 1-2 times a month.

Good Morning

Tanya R here with a 4x4 card using the NEW Baby Bunny Girl digital stamp. The colors and the layout for this card were inspired by the 2 Cute Rubber Stamps current Photo Inspiration Challenge HERE. I hope you guys decide to play along. I had a blast with it, incorporating the colors, the circles and the stripes into this very busy card.

Just an FYI. The Bunny's fur was created with a fuzzy sock dipped in Copic Blender Fluid, then dabbed onto the bunny. It removes some of the Copic Marker, and leaves a plush look to it. Or that is what I attempted to have it do.

Jenn here, with some 2Cute inspiration. I spent Saturday at the Scrapbook Expo and found this great paper, but it really isn't the colors I run to first. I thought I would give it a try. This is also a first for me with the sewing machine. I think this turned out GREAT.

The image I used is Thank You Cat and can be found here. I love this image, it can be used for so much, and if you are watching your pennies (like most of us these days) its a great buy. I love when a digi is not a uni-tasker (as Alton Brown says). Well until next time...

Mini Cupcake and Sneak Peek of New Digital Stamp!

Hi everyone - Steph here!

This card uses some (super old) DCWV paper from the Springtime Stack (circa 2008, I believe! LOL). I was digging through my paper cupboard, and have really been trying to use a lot of my old papers before they get any older! The digi stamp used for this card is actually a freebie, available HERE (Mini Cupcake).

Lots of bling on this one; there is a dot of Stickles in the centre of each flower on the patterned paper, as well as on the cupcake sprinkles - and then I added Glossy Accents to the yellow icing and the heart/cherry (it was a cherry before I cut the stem off. I'm totally digging the heart.)

Hey, Jenn here. We are spending sometime camping with the boy, and so far having a great time. The only problem was I forgot to post my card. So hubby and I had to drive down the streets of this super tiny town until I found an unsecured network to use. Lucky for me this worked out, hehe. Tanya R here with some Thursday inspiration, keeping with this weeks 2 Cute Rubber Stamps Challenge -Red White and Blue. I really like the paper rosettes I have seen around Blog land, so I thought to make one without a die. Would this not be a very cute badge for a Cowboy birthday party! Oh the possibilities.

I used Cowboy Kid, a wonderful circular 2 Cute Rubber Stamp that is also available in digital form HERE. 2 Cute Rubber Stamps has both the rubber and digital form of this image. A little something for everyone, how nice is that! It also makes it easy to craft imediately using the digi form, until the mailman delivers the rubber to your doorstep.

2Cute Sunday Inspiration

Good morning everyone,
I trust you all are having a great 4th of July weekend. It's my turn to post one of my latest creations, so here we go...

Now I know that this doesn't follow our current Challenge but I couldn't help myself. This couple is so adorable and they've been sitting on my desk for awhile just waiting to be used.
I colored them in with Copic markers, used Wild Orchid flowers and the paper is from a paper pack put out by K&Company.
I hope you enjoy this adorable duo and that you have a safe and fun holiday weekend.
